STUDIO︎︎︎

Luke Matone Architect. is an RIAI-registered architecture, planning, and design studio based near Dingle on the south west of Ireland. Founded in 2024, the practice explores the intersection of place, material, and context, creating architecture that is both careful and poetic.

Each project begins with close dialogue with clients, responding to the historic, spatial, and environmental qualities of a site. This process shapes buildings and spaces that are grounded, enduring, and meaningful. Drawing on Ireland’s rich cultural and natural landscape, our work weaves contemporary design with vernacular forms, local materials, and traditional craftsmanship.

Regardless of scale or budget, every project is approached with rigour and care, resulting in spaces that enrich the everyday, endure over time, and leave a lasting impression on those that are fortunate to encounter them.

SERVICES︎︎︎

We offer a comprehensive and personal architectural service, clear, structured, and aligned with RIAI work stages.

Whether you’re looking for a one-off consultation, guidance through a particular stage, or full architectural services from first sketch to completion, our involvement can be tailored to suit your needs, site, and budget.

We work across all project stages, from early feasibility and concept design, through planning and detailed design, to construction, certification, and completion on site.

We’re also building a trusted local network of consultants in planning, surveying, and construction. By identifying what’s needed early, we help projects move forward clearly and efficiently.

And if your site is back west, we will cycle to site visits whenever he can. A small gesture toward lowering carbon emissions, and a lovely way to take in the view!
