Luke Matone Architect. is an RIAI-registered architecture, planning, and design studio based in Ventry, Kerry, Ireland. Founded in 2024, the practice explores the intersection of place, material, and context, creating architecture that is both careful and poetic.
Each project begins with close dialogue with clients, responding to the historic, spatial, and environmental qualities of a site. This process shapes buildings and spaces that are grounded, enduring, and meaningful. Drawing on Ireland’s rich cultural and natural landscape, our work weaves contemporary design with vernacular forms, local materials, and traditional craftsmanship.
We believe architecture is shaped by its context and defined through atmosphere, proportion, and detail. Regardless of scale or budget, every project is approached with rigour and care, resulting in spaces that enrich daily life, endure over time, and leave a lasting imprint on those who inhabit them.
